We had a great experience staying at the cottage. We were worried about the location at first but it turned out to be quiet and private even though it was located next to a restaurant and main road. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the property was well taken care of.

This property was all I could have hoped for and more! The reason I say that is due to location and also the outdoor space. We are a family of 4 with 2 adult daughters. I looked at every available property and determined this was our best option based on strongly positive review and also the photos. I wanted something close to the beach, something with outdoor space and, quite honestly, something with adequate seating at night to watch a family movie! This place was amazing! I was most concerned about the outdoor space but we were treated to poolside seating for six in nice lounge chairs and a table and chairs for six and a BRAND NEW grill. Also, they don't claim to have beach chairs but they had beach chairs and a wagon. We loved hanging out on the super close beach to watch the sunset and then having dinner back at "our place" poolside. Another important factor for me was seating around the TV. This place had photos that showed a 3 seater sofa and 2 chairs (seating for at least 5 adults) and that was exactly the case except all 4 of us fit on the sofa. That was a huge factor for me. The shower was incredible. The kitchen had pots, pans and utensils galore and Publix was a quick walk to the left down the street and via a lovely shaded sidewalk! We had 2 parking spaces though we only had one car. It really is a fantastic location. We rented bikes and we had a paddle board excursion. My family had a wonderful time. The photos of the pool area and outdoor seating do not do this place justice. Super close to the beach, this place also boasts poolside seating all day where those who are so inclined can be in the shade. Truly, this is a gem. My only regret is that we had to leave. This was our second stay at this property. The location is outstanding, only about 1/2 block to the beach and within easy walking distance to groceries and many restaurants. Pool is private and well-heated, a must for Florida winters. Would definitely stay again.

Great access to beach and trolley. Definitely take the trolley or rent a golf cart because there’s very little parking on the island. This rental is located right in front of of the public park so the beach and area was very crowded. So if you are looking for secluded this is not the spot for you. We hung out at the condos pool most of the stay because it was so crowded but they may have been because it was Father’s Day weekend.

Do not hesitate, just book. The place is beautiful, quiet, clean, smells fresh. Loved the washer and drier, kitchen is well stocked with cups, plates, etc. Beach chairs, wagon, and even a few pool floats were provided! The beach is literally across the street (a two minute walk even with my herd of children). The pool was a game-changer for us. We were able to go between the pool and beach a few times a day, and because it was ‘our’ pool, we didn’t have to fuss with others (no social distancing necessary!) The grill was clean and made for a great home cooked meal.

Very clean. Loved the location, just across the beach (we were concerned with out kids 7 and 9 that the road we needed to cross would be really busy since is 1 of the 2 entries into the island and it was not... we were pleasantly surprised) our stay happened to coincide with tropical storm/hurricane ETA. The pool was a blessing for the kids on the 2 days it was safe to go to the beach. Nice kitchen had all we needed to make meals.. , publix is not a block and a half from cottage could walk there. Skinnys hamburger is literally right next door, good burgers. Overall we are really happy with our experience there we were really happy on how clean the place was, and the convenience of the location.

This unit was awesome! Even though it is part of a 4 plex, each unit had its own private pool with plenty of privacy. Located right across street from beach, just a few minutes walk. There were beach chairs and umbrella to use on beach and a wagon to take it all over.

The location of this rental is absolutely perfect! Steps away from the beach, and close to the supermarket (one of the friendliest Publix I've ever seen fwiw) and restaurants - we didn't get in our car the whole time we were there. Despite it's central location, it is also really quiet - we could hear a dull hum from the road, but that's it. I was a bit concerned that we were so close to Skinny's that there would be a lot of noise, but that was definitely not the case. Although the cottage is small, it is nicely arranged - our group of 5 never felt crowded at all. The pool was also nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Even though it was a short stay, the location and the beauty of the unit was heavenly! Would definitely return. The privacy was a huge plus! Loved the pool, where we spent most of our time. The only complaint we have, is that out of our 4 day stay, two days were interrupted by pool cleaner and construction crew putting gravel around grounds around the pool. Hence we had limited access to the pool for awhile for two days. I don't understand why these tasks were not done before on days when there was no bookings.

Hi Karen, Thank you for staying and for your feedback. The pool gets serviced twice a week so we can provide a balanced and clean pool for your stay but does not take more than 30 minutes. The landscapers also worked hard in between renters to trim the trees and add gravel so it looks nice for all of our guests. Coconut Cottage #3 was a fantastic place to stay for our first vacation on AMI. The location could not have been any better. It is central to the island and close to grocery stores, restaurants, gift shops and more. Once we arrived, we had no problems settling in. The place was ready at said check-in time, it was clean and all was in working order. The private pool was the highlight of the place. An added bonus was the outdoor shower. I love how they have a walkway that leads right to the back where the shower & pool is located. It makes for keeping the cottage sand free after a day at the beach. Even though they are apartments, other than walking to and from the parking area, we never saw or heard our neighbors. The way the apartments are set up makes it quiet and private. We rented a beach buggy for our stay. Highly recommend that! It makes seeing & traveling the island so much easier. The cottage is directly across the street from the public beach which was very crowded on the weekend, so we decided to take a ride to the northern part of the island and found an access point with a less crowded beach. That’s the great thing about the island! You can find what you like most, somewhere on the island. Recommendations: beachhorses for a sunset horseback beach & water ride. AMAZING experience. Will never forget it. The Sandbar for a sunset dinner. The Rod & Reel Pier for lunch and watching the fisherman (or partaking). We saw dolphins and a manatee there! Skinny’s (which is literally next door to the cottage) for a take-out burger meal on a day/night when you just don’t feel like cooking or going out. Overall, our vacation was amazing. We have 2 daughters (10 & 8) who said they loved it and didn’t want to leave (on our last full day). I contacted Valerie and she was able to add on an extra day/night. We will definitely be back and recommend this cottage to friends and family!

Amazing location, just a couple of minutes (walking) from a gorgeous beach. When you’re done at the beach, use the great, private pool to relax. The location was perfect for us and our 2 younger kids. Easily walkable island, but it’s just as fun to take a golf cart and explore everything the island has to offer. The house was exactly what we wanted/ needed. Just the right amount of space for the 4 of us. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to relax and swim, that’s conveniently located, this is the place for you! We’d definitely stay here again!! (Be sure to try Skinny’s, which is located right next to the property... you won’t regret it!)

We loved Coconut Cottage #3. It was just the right size for our family. It's small but who want to hang out in the house all day when you're at the beach and have your own pool. The location was great as we could go across the street to beach and was right near shops and grocery stores. We walked to the burger shop right behind us. We love AMI and this is another rental we will add to our repeat list.

We highly recommend Cottage #3 at Anna Maria Island. Everything we needed for our stay was available and in great condition. Loved every detail in the decorations and how clean everything was. The kids loved the pool to the point they didn’t want to get out...and when we finally managed to get them out we loved having the beautiful Manatee Beach just two (2) minutes away (walking). Great family vacation for sure! P.S. When we couldn’t figure out the TV/DVD setting, Valerie sent someone right away to gets us all set up. Thanks for a great customer service experience!

We went for our 43rd Anniversary. It was just as pictured. The pool was great. The beds were comfy. The only downside was my husband suffered from a kidney stone and we had to leave a day early. I would highly recommend this place. Such a great cottage!

You cannot get a nicer, cozy cottage STEPS away from the beach, restaurants and anything you would need. We rented a golf cart, which I highly recommend, because it is a fun way to see the island. This cottage was beautiful, clean and the private pool was more than perfect AND heated for our winter stay!

I don't want to rave on about how much we love it here because I want it to my self again and again!!! Location perfect. Accommodation lacked nothing. Easy to find. Just a minute to the white silver sand and aquamarine waters. The pool is sparkling clean and serviced twice a week. There is nothing more you need. An excellent Publix not far. three minutes in the car to stock up. There is gas grill BBQ on the deck by the pool. The host is on the phone 24/7 for any problems. Oh and for the British guests.......Yes tea kettle!!!

This property is perfect for small families to enjoy and is at a great location. The pool was amazing and offered a great place to relax after a day at the beach (located directly across the street- only a 2 to 3 min walk away!:). We plan to return anytime we visit AMI.

This is a can’t miss rental. The condo is perfectly decorated for the beach and was spotless. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the beach! The pool was crystal clear and was enjoyed by my family. It was the perfect spot to relax in the afternoon. If you are looking to rent in AMI, Coconut Cottage is worth a look!

The House was just right for our family of 4. The twin beds were great for the kids. Kitchen was ready for cooking! But we enjoyed take out/eating out and leftovers more than anything. The pool was lovely and it was nice to have beach chairs ready for us. We love AMI!

Great place in great location. We could walk to the beach in a few minutes, having a private pool was great and the place was furnished nicely. Clean when we arrived and had plenty of towels! There weren’t enough sheets to make the pull out couch but we made due.

Our stay at the coconut cottage was amazing! The cottage and pool were absolutely perfect for us and our toddler. The location is basically across the street from the beach and a short drive or trolley ride to many activities and restaurants. The only complaint would be the traffic noise while enjoying the outdoor space, however it never bothered our sleep. We definitely plan on coming back!

Hi Heather, Great to hear that you enjoyed your trip! The location and the proximity to the beach are fantastic. The Cottages are just one block off a main road onto the island which is why the location is amazing. So close to everything. I'm glad that the traffic was not too bothersome to you.
