The villa is ideally suited for fun and relaxation, with comfortable furnishings and plenty of amenities for a laid-back vacation. The wireless internet, DVD player, portable speaker system, and flat screen TV's in every room will keep you plugged into the modern world if you so desire. This home was completely re-modeled and offers vaulted ceilings, solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The living area has a queen sleeper sofa and opens to your own private pool with lush tropical landscaping. Grab some chairs and towels because you're just steps away from one of the most beautiful sugar-white beaches in all of America. Once back from the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax by the heated pool in your own tropical paradise. Small pets will be considered with an additional fee. This hideaway sleeps up to 6 beachgoers.

We stayed at Mermaid's Hideaway last week and it exceeded our expectations. We've been coming to Anna Maria for the past 5 years and this was my favorite house we've visited. The layout of the house, the pool and short walk to the ocean was absolutely perfect! They had a storage building by the pool with a wagon, floats, sand toys, beach chairs, boards, etc., we brought our own so we didn't need to use them however it will be very useful for families who fly and can't bring those things. We enjoyed the pool area with all the chairs, table and grill. Tons of books in the TV stand and a few games/puzzles for those rainy days. Kids bunk room has an arcade game that was a lot of fun - we figured out later in the week it's free to play! The only thing I would change is an extra set of sheets for the beds and maybe a spice cabinet - we totally forgot salt & pepper at the store because the last few houses had a cabinet with these items. No big deal, we just got it on our next trip out. We rented bikes for the week at Beach Bums - they actually deliver and pick up if you set it up before you arrive, and the price is great! We took a 2.5-hour boat tour and got to see lots of crabs, sand dollars, dolphins, a fever of stingrays, sea sponge, etc. - book a tour with It's a shore thing tiki cruise, Captain Sue and First Mate Phillip were absolutely amazing! Rod & Reel Pier was beautiful - my husband went fishing on the pier and got to see sting rays and manatees come up to the pier - you can rent rods and buy bait for a very reasonable price. The guys went on a fishing charter - Captain Major was great, they really enjoyed their fishing trip, and we enjoyed the delicious dinner they caught! Of course, we ate at Ugly Grouper since it's our favorite! Captain Sue and First Mate Phillip told us about Starfish, it's a hidden gem for sure! We love Tide Table, and they told us it's owned by the same person, so we tried it, and it was delicious! They only accept cash, but they had an ATM on site. Donut Experience is a must! Shiny Fish Emporium on Pine Ave is another great place! They have the cutest shop and a spot to paint sand dollars - the owners make the visit the best! They are so friendly and helpful. They have the best mochi we've ever had! Most of all, we enjoyed the time on the beach just being still and enjoying God's creation! We will recommend this house to all of our friends and family! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Can't wait to come back soon!
