Welcome to Mermaid’s Purse, a perfectly located north-end vacation home with just two houses to Palmetto Beach and a quick walk from the famous Pine Avenue boutiques and restaurants. This rental has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and features a private pool. Pack your bags and get ready for the best vacation yet!

Friends and family can gather and connect in the living area, where they can make Anna Maria Island adventure and activity plans or sit back and watch their favorite tv show. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to serve delicious island-inspired meals and ample counter space that makes meal prep a breeze. Friends and family can enjoy a quick snack at the kitchen island and a cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning. There is a dining area perfect for delighting in the best Anna Maria Island take-out and a seating area under the covered patio perfect for enjoying bbq cookouts.

Relax in the colorful primary bedroom, where can catch up on much-needed sleep and delight in the sounds of the Florida palm trees swaying. After a long day of beach days and island activities, refresh in the first bathroom’s walk-in shower. The second bedroom is ideal for younger guests or single travelers and has an ensuite bathroom with an updated walk-in shower. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room to ensure every guest gets their best sleep.

This property allows pets - there will be an additional pet fee associated. AMI Accommodations Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed under certain conditions and ALL animals, including service animals, must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. We cannot accept cats. *Please note that there will be an additional non-refundable pet fee charged upon approval by AMI Accommodations.* Weight limit of 50lbs max total for 1 or 2 dogs combined. No dangerous breeds allowed.

*Please note: 4 cars maximum can park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles.

This home is managed by AMI Locals, an Anna Maria Island property management company.
We do not accept reservations from anyone under 25 years of age. We do not allow persons under 25 to occupy a property unless accompanied by someone over 25.

Wonderful little beach cottage for our small family vacation. Perfect indoor space for us to relax in, very clean and accommodating for our week long stay. Outdoor area was great for hanging out by the pool, grilling/eating on the patio and sitting on the screened in porch. The short walk to the beach was perfect for kids needing to take a break for lunch or for a midday nap. We enjoyed walking to the local ice cream shop daily and other fun small businesses in the area. Locals were super friendly and gave great recommendations for things to do and places to eat on the island. It felt like home away from home. We will definitely be returning.

Everything was awesome all around!!! We did have a missing coffee carafe on Sunday morning when we woke up, but the staff was able to deliver it right away! We also had the microwave trip the breaker and the service to fix it was incredibly fast. The only recommendation would be to include where the breaker box is on the floor plan...I would have been able to fix it myself if I knew where three breaker box was. Still very satisfied on how quick the staff was able to get over to the house and flip the breaker back for us. Tracy is incredible and so glad that our friend Doug Ellie convinced me to come down for the week. We will definitely be back!!!!!
