Bay Vista at Bayside Bungalow

Gorgeous view. No squeaky box springs as reported in past reviews. Lovely sleep. Lovely space. Alarm is unbearable. It goes off not just when it’s opened but for each person that passes through while it’s open. It must be that way as a pool alarm for kids as there is no gate between this unit and the pool. Very loud. Would not have been bearable through our stay if we had not figured out how to turn it off. Would love to stay again. Not the best beach across the street but enough for walking and siting on the bench right across the street. Close to great restaurant and coffee and icecream shop right next door. Really wonderful. Would stay again. You can open the windows so it’s like the ocean is coming in along the front room.

El Apto. Estuvo muy lindo, y limpio, la ubicación excelente, solo que en las fotos parece ser que la playa que esta al frente es bella, pero no es así, realmente el mar es feo y movido, las playas lindas de Annie Marie están del otro lado del litoral, igualmente todo es muy cerca y los hostess de AMI te dan muy buenas recomendaciones para rentar carritos de golf, etc… que hacen de la experiencia una increíble.
Otra cosa, las reglas para el check out son muy estrictas con la salida a las 10:00 am, pero en nuestro caso pedimos salir un poco mas tarde ya que no había nadie entrando ese día y nos permitieron salir a las 12:00, cosa que realmente nos ayudó mucho, ya que pudimos organizarnos mejor pues teníamos niñas pequeñas! Gracias a todos y esperamos volver pronto.

The place was absolutely beautiful! Great view. Easy walk to beach. Beach supplies plentiful. We had a little trouble with the alarm system getting in but texted and received a quick response back. The alarm goes off after only a couple of seconds when trying to get in the door (but I understand this is for the safety of children accidentally having access to the pool so it is important to have). Great place. Everyone loved. Would recommend.

Beautiful apartment,awesome views, great location! Our family had a very nice time. Everything inside is exactly as described in the pictures. There is plenty of kitchen items at your disposal, and the cute complimentary box they left at the kitchen's counter contains everything you need, a small dish soap, two Laundry pods, kitchen wipes and dishwashing liquid, besides the towel paper.The management company has done a good job maintaining this property, and they were in touch most of the time.The pool was serviced while we were there, so it was clean,they service the pool twice a week.The laundry room is very convenient and everything you need for the beach ⛱️ is right there.Definetely must try the places next door ,The Waterfront Rest & Two Scoops, the first pier is less than a block away.The only thing I will suggest is more flexibility for early check-ins or late check-outs considering the daily rental value an hour or 2 will be fair enough for a client to enjoy a little perk.

Unit was true to the pictures. The great room/common space was very nice, well designed and plenty of space for our party of 8. Comfortable beds*. Beautiful views of the bay. Pool was nice. Quiet area with plenty to do within walking distance. Easy access to the gulf and bay beaches. The free island trolley only a block away. Great rental option. Negatives: *pullout sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable; Was not informed about the door alarm or bypass button - the alarm sounds/screeches 10 seconds after opening, the function couldn't be shut off and the bypass button was too high for the kids to reach; parking was a challenge with only one space per unit - with 8 in our party, we had more than one car; For security - No peep-hole or window for the door.

WOW!! This was the best vacay ever. The apartment was so spacious and clean. They even had beach wagons, beach chairs that we would be able to use.

This spot was perfect for our family. The location and view cannot be beat. The design of the unit was great and they put some fantastic touches on the decor. It had everything we needed, only thing is to be mindful there is an alarm that goes off every time you open the door so if you have little kids this can be a loud experience!

Condo was great, awesome location, 1 block from Pine Ave with all shops, restaurants. We drove down to beach to drop stuff then parked back at condo. Walk to beach not bad…about 3-4 blocks. Condo has everything needed. Laundry just down steps from front door & free. Highly recommend! (Bedroom 2 could use some shelves or dresser in closet). King beds are “creaky” but didn’t bother us.

This place was very enjoyable. Communication with the rental team was prompt. The pool was nice and heated. Lots of great nearby restaurants and walking distance. Beware only one parking spot however. If you come in with two families and two cars you might have some issues finding a parking spot overnight. Reading prior reviews about the noisy beds it looks like they are still noisy. However overall it was a very enjoyable stay, comfortable for two families four adults four kids.

Easy walkability with a comfortable, spacious and clean condo. The views from the main living space were breathtaking and peaceful. Agree with the prior reviews mentioning the noisy beds. They were comfortable but oh so noisy. This vacation home provided the basics (kitchen essentials, beach towels, a few towels for each bathroom, access To beach chairs). Definitely recommend bringing anything beyond the basics for your stay (additional bath towels/floor mat for outside the shower, basic toiletries of shampoo/body wash, throw blankets, cooking basics such salt pepper nonfat spray olive oils). Lacked the extra touches/amenities/accessories/renter welcome baskets that other prior rentals through VRBO have provided. We certainly WOULD recommend this vrbo to anyone asking about a great place to hang your hat while staying in Anna Maria. We enjoyed the stay tremendously!

We really liked the unit we stayed in. Beautiful views. Anytime we come to the island we stay on this street because we enjoy the shallow, calm beaches of the bay side and being within one block of pine st shopping and eating. There was a leaking issue in the laundry room when we arrived but they had someone working on it right away. Anything we were missing (hangers, enough towels) they brought over promptly. Very easy, friendly! The only thing is Check out is very early, and check in is so late that you pretty much miss an entire day. I would also recommend fans for the bedrooms, more towels. And bar accessories with cooking seasonings.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed including extra beach towels and even three different kinds of coffee makers. They have thought of everything. I loved the beach chair that they had there to use so much I came home and bought the same one online. We loved the room our kids stayed in with the bunk beds and the barn door. The pool was private and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Location was excellent and the view was breathtaking. Can’t wait to return again soon.

We love Anna Maria Island and wanted to have a special place to stay for our Daughter's 16th birthday. This home had the perfect location, space, and great price.
There was a laundry room in the property that was well maintained.
The pool is shared but was clean and quiet. The interior of the property was clean and had everything you need to cook as a family (if choosing to do so on vacation lol) and had plenty of sleeping space for 6. I will say though, the upper bunk rail was loose and a piece of the wood frame was broken off so my youngest slept on the pullout and my eldest slept on the couch just to be safe.
The TV's have a bit of a lag when lining up with the words but then again you are here for the beach and food not TV!
There were plenty of towels and soaps to get you started.
It is next door to an amazing restaurant for wonderful family dinners and also next to a hotdog/ ice cream shop for a fun lunch.
This property is with in walking distance to everything Anna Maria has to offer!
I would recommend this property and I will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our accommodations in AMI. The condo was very spacious and had everything that we needed to cook meals. Nikki the property manager went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was only a phone call away if we can any questions. The pool was wonderful, we had our own parking space for the golf cart we rented and the location was only a few blocks from the beach. We will definitely come back to this property in the future. My family and I spent a few days in this home, just to get away from the stresses of every day life. It was perfect for us. The house was immaculate. It was clean and fresh. We could smell the sea air with the windows open. The pool area was quiet, it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. WOW! The view is amazing in unit 5. The location is wonderful at the north end of the island. The unit is tastefully furnished and supplied with the essentials you’ll need. They have many quaint shops and the restaurant directly across the street from the condo was our favorite. The swimming pool is wonderful, we spent much of our days there. I would definitely stay here again if I am to visit Anna Maria Island.

We had a fantastic time a few weeks ago! The condo is great! Nicely decorated, beautiful view, exactly as pictured. Nikki checked in several times throughout the week, answered any questions we had. There’s a beach cart, umbrella, several beach chairs, and probably ten nice beach towels! The pool is on the small side, but it was totally fine. We often had it to ourselves! We had 4 adults and 3 kids, so the condo was perfect for us. Really enjoyed it, and we’ve booked places all over the country. Would totally stay here again! Must try The Waterfront restaurant next door...we made a reservation on Open Table for the night we arrived. It’s fantastic! Two Scoops ice cream is next to the restaurant, we went like 5x! Even when the line is wrapped all the way around inside, it moves super fast. Try all the crazy flavors, it’s so yummy! The beach in front of the condo is small, but what a great place to see the sunrise! You can see it from the condo without a problem, but it’s worth it to set your alarm and walk out to the beach one morning! We saw the “turtle trackers” out looking for sea turtles, and she explained everything about these amazing creatures! There’s also an amazing beach at the other end of Spring Street (the gulf side) that is never crowded and has several parking places. Go to Bean Point for the sunset...unbelievably beautiful! Rent one of the tiny cars for a day...kids and adults loved it! We have been all over South Carolina, Gulf Shores, AL, and all over Florida...gotta say AMI is one of our new favorites! We never waited longer than 30 minutes anywhere to eat, and that’s shocking for a party of 7 in mid-July! Also, gotta do a morning kayaking trip in the mangroves...gorgeous! We saw manatees and all sorts of cool birds and crabs! We booked through Adventure Kayak Outfitters...easy, beautiful drive straight down the Key. Every restaurant we tried was fantastic food. Harry’s was fun on Monday night for live music. Drive down to Anna Maria Oyster Bar to check out the pier...get the tequila oysters! Bridge Street Bistro was lovely...call to reserve a table by the windows...it’s a gorgeous view! The Feast has great food, too! What a fun trip...we were sad to leave!!!

We had a great time, super clean! Loved the house! We felt right at home. It was completely furnished with all necessities including beach chairs, beach cart, umbrella, beach towels and much more. The kitchen had everything we needed to make an easy vacation transition from our home. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and yes of course...Two scoops ice cream. We absolutely loved the decor, it was the cherry on top of the beach experience. The shared pool worked out great, other families stayed and we never had an issue. Rod and Reel Pier had a good breakfast where we would watch the dolphins. Sandbar was by far the best restaurant, Waterfront is just ok. The beach gulf side is just a short drive or if you’re ambitious walk it. We didn’t walk due to the rainy season and it was easier to just park on a side streets.

Our group of 7 had plenty of space to spread out. We had 3 adults and 4 kids- ages 2 to 12. The view from the condo is spectacular, and the pool is shared by so few condos that every time we went it was just our family there. My favorite aspect of the condo is it’s location. It’s on the bayside, so the water is almost still and incredibly clear. Our kids dove for shells every day and my 5 year old was braver than he’s ever been in the ocean. The shoreline next to the condo isn’t busy, and most mornings it seemed to be our own private beach. We also loved that we could walk to Waterfront restaurant and Two Scoops ice cream. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach cart and toys are all stocked in the condo. If you have older kids who would prefer waves to calm water consider getting a golf cart to take you to public beaches. We were happy to stay in the bay, but some might not be. Our favorite day we rented a pontoon and took it out to nearby islands. The water was crystal clear and we had a great time swimming and shelling. Anna Maria was exactly what we were looking for, and this condo met every expectation. It was clean, well decorated but comfortable, and the location can’t be beat.

This home has beautiful decor and is very clean. The location is fantastic and the pool is amazing! We watched dolphins in the bay while sitting in the living room. It is convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and ice cream parlor.

The view is spectacular and the condo is beautiful. We had multiple meals at home and spent a lot of time by the heated pool. Nikki provided beach carts and lots of fun beach toys and noodles too! This condo was exceptional. It is new and updated and very clean. It is incredibly close to the water and within walking distance of multiple restaurants and attractions. I was absolutely impressed when we walked into this awesome vacation home. There was 8 of us and plenty of room for everyone. The pictures are very accurate....(the ocean really is that close!). The furniture, appliance and general layout was perfect. There was little things we loved too like the warm pool that we used at least 4-5 times, the beach chairs and umbrella, and last but not least the very responsive property owner. The property owner was so accommodating, we would have come back even if we didn't LOVE the place...thankfully we did. She made sure we had all the information for getting to the location, beaches to try and other suggestions. Couple suggestions....for those coming to this great location. One, get groceries delivered ahead of time. This was great coming from the West Coast and not wanting to go to the grocery store to start our vacation. Two, rent a boat from AMI rentals. Its just a few minutes away and the people are very easy to work with. We rented a pontoon boat and sat out on a sandbar which was breathtaking. Also, consider a golf cart. Its nice to just hop in a golf cart and go to different beaches...it can be more difficult to park a car at each beach. Try out The Donut Experience which is just 5 blocks away and '2 Scopes' ice cream store which is right across the street. I don't know what else to say...STAY HERE! GREAT PLACE, GREAT LOCATION, and GREAT MANAGEMENT. We'll be back!

The heated pool was fabulous. The Gulf was a comfortable walking distance and Tampa Bay was directly across the street. This was our first trip to Anna Amaria Island. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Can't say enough about our stay here. The place is beautiful. The pictures don't capture how spacious it is nor the attention to detail in decorating. Nicole has anticipated every need from beach items to super plush towels. The location is amazing. It's on a corner and walking distance to nice shops and very good restaurants. It's on the bayside which is great and felt very private and relaxing but also only a few blocks walk to the beach on the other side of the island. We can't wait to return!

This rental suited our group of 6 ladies very well. The open kitchen/living area has plenty of comfortable seating so we could all hang out together after a long day of beaching it. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants which were just a few steps outside the door, and loved the pool area as well.

This 3 bedroom home is gorgeous and well decorated. Everything in this house is perfectly arranged. Choice of furniture and decoration are exquisit and perfect for a beach home. Quiet neighborhood and many restaurant options near by. Would stay back in a heart beat!

I've stayed in dozens of vacation rentals over the years and I must say the interior and exterior of the property was really fabulous, especially for the price! I would love to hire the company she used to remodel and furnish the property. May I please steal your kitchen and put it in my house??? Everything was as described and pictured in the listing. The property was well-appointed and the view was amazing! Every morning we awoke to a crystal clear view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The northern tip of the island is much more quiet and peaceful then the central and southern part of the island but trust me we explored all of it! I rented a boat from Cannon's Marina and Longboat Key. We also explored both Tampa and Sarasota Bay as well as the intercoastal. Florida at its finest! I only have one suggestion...the only appliance missing is a hair dryer lol. I would rate this property as perfect regardless!! Thank you for a wonderful experience Nikki! Do yourself a favor and print out all of Nikki's properties. Whether you have a large group or need to house an entire wedding party and guest list, or need a small Studio or one-bedroom for a quiet weekend away with your significant other, she has something to fit every need. All the properties I have been very recently renovated and just gorgeous! Happy travels!!!

Just wonderful and beyond our expectations!! The house is exactly as shown on the pictures, fully equipped, you don't need anything else and there is even a binder full of information from the fun stuff to emergencies, so you don't need to look for more. The place is great for families, since it has a little bit for everyone. The beaches in the south area of the Island are light blue and the sand everywhere is like powder. We will com back for sure!

We spent a long weekend here and it was breath takingly beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. Comfy beds, cozy couches and chairs and there are no words to describe the view. All amenties are superb and everything is within walking distance. Ice cream store 2 doors over and a general store with incredible deli. Can't wait to come back!!

We felt right at home here! The living area is spacious with plenty of very comfortable seating to watch TV, read, play games or just enjoy the beautiful views of the Bay, Pier and community. Through the beautiful windows we saw the amazing colors of the Bay, dolphins, manatees, sunrises and colorful sailboats. We also observed big barges and cruise ships across the Bay by the Skyway Bridge. We found the home, fridge, kitchen appliances, dishes, bedrooms, linens and bathrooms to be very clean, which we greatly appreciated. The Internet was fast for all our phones and other technologies, there were plenty of electrical plugs and the air conditioner set at the recommended temperature was perfect. These things for some reason are very important to my family and grandkids! :) The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining. The pool is very clean and there are lots of chairs for lounging in the sun or shade. We ate outdoors several times after using the grill at the outdoor large covered table area. The laundry room with washing machines and dryers came in very handy and worked well. The location is perfect as you are very close to restaurants, a general store, ice cream shop, two piers and beaches. We enjoyed the swimming and gathered tons of sand dollars in the Bay waters that is literally across the street and enjoyed the clear water, especially at high tide in the early to late afternoon. We enjoyed walking and fishing at the Pier near by, seeing the manatees and pelicans, and ate at the restaurant there along with listened to the music of a delightful singer. We also drove our car across to the Gulf side beach – which was incredible. The colors of the clear water and beautiful white sand were amazing. We enjoyed several restaurants there…the Waterfront, Two Scoops and Ginny and Jane E’s were fabulous. Thank you Nikki and Mike – you were always there for us, we really enjoyed our week in your lovely home. We hope to return someday again very soon.

Loved the pool, too! We had only one glitch when the laundry door was locked and the owner crawled through the crawl space to access the laundry and open the door! Excellent location. The unit was ready when we arrived. The notebook on the coffee table contained all the information we needed to make sure we were checked in along with what to do when we checked out. It also provided us with a plethora of reference material (restaurants, groceries, beaches, banks, entertainment, etc) to point us in the right direction during our stay. The pool area was very well-kept and although it is shared with the four other units on the property, it still felt private and secure. I would suggest that there be more pool lounge chairs for guests, rather than so many table chairs. There were only two lounge chairs which was not nearly sufficient. There are designated parking spaces on the property for each unit to have their own private parking spot, which is fantastic, however, on several occasions, the adjacent restaurant patrons parked in our driveway. This was an inconvenience. The property owner was onsite several different times during our stay to make sure that everything was running smoothly. He was very friendly and helpful and it was reassuring to see him there. The owners have done a fabulous job in keeping the property well-maintained. The interior decor of the unit really captured the beach theme. The furniture was immaculate. Each room was staged differently, with its own unique theme, providing a distinct character. The views were spectacular. The open concept provided a spacious living and dining room. The kitchen countertops and appliances were elite. Plentiful amount of cookware and dinnerware. The owners really have invested a lot of of time and money in putting together the perfect vacation getaway. It is quite apparent that they truly understand what a family needs for a vacation. Well thought out. We have stayed in many different vacation homes, and by far, this is the best. Our family is already planning a return visit to this very unit and we cannot wait.

Michael, I can not thank you enough for taking the time to write such a thoughtful, thorough, and kind review. My husband and I do take great pride in making sure our homes and the guest experiences while staying there are truly top notch. I had to laugh that you mentioned my binder... as many guests, friends, and family have come to lovingly refer to it as 'Nikki's Binder'. I have put some time and effort into filling it with all sorts of useful information so that guests can experience the island to its fullest and feel like a true 'local'. As to your notes on the parking and lounge chairs. We have put up private parking signs in EACH parking spot which has cut down on the issue with others taking spots. We also got a whole set of brand new beautiful adirondack lounge chairs at the pool area. Unfortunately the last set we bought were faulty and all broke within a few weeks. My husband and two young boys stayed here at the beginning of February and had a wonderful time! Everything was beautifully appointed and new and the view overlooking the ocean could not be beat! We also enjoyed the use of swimming pool. although it is shared by other units, we were often the only ones there. We would definitely recommend this as a great vacation space and I only wish we would have stayed longer!

We stayed here for a family vacation with grandparents, parents and kids. Fun for all ages all over the island. Perfect location, walkable to shops, restaurants, the pier and the beach! View of the bay and the bridge are beautiful. Great owners and fabulous to work with. Accommodations are fabulous with all new interior, beautiful decor, space for relaxing and cooking and clean. Only challenge was lack of storage in the bedrooms and small bathrooms, but for a short stay it was perfectly fine. Laundry onsite as well!

The location is perfect for a mellow quiet island experience. Right across the street from a very good restaurant, right by the trolley stop, walking distance to stores and other restaurants, across the street from the bay beach (lots of shell hunting) and a fantastic pool that is fenced in and sheltered from any wind but gets lots of sun. The inside of the rental was very comfortable and had everything you needed. The included beach gear was very helpful when we ventured to the gulf side of the island. The property manager was extremely helpful with anything we needed. A great little vacation rental.

Would highly recommend this 3 bedroom condo to families and couples. It is brand new and has been appointed thoughtfully - has a comfortable, casual, coordinated decor. The living room is all windows overlooking the bay - full of sunlight all day. It's on the North end of the island which is the most desirable.

I booked this home for a last minute get away with my two children. This beautifully remodeled condo is absolutely perfect, and the decor looks like it is right out of Southern Living magazine! The finishes are high end, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the view from the living room of Tampa Bay is spectacular!! The pool and outdoor patio is awesome!
