Captain Ron's Beach Pad

The location of the condo was absolutely perfect for us! The view of the ocean from the porch was outstanding! We enjoyed being within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars! The only con is that we could hear the music from one of the bars in our bedroom when we tried to sleep, however that could easily be cancelled out with ear plugs if you choose.

We really enjoyed the size and layout of this property. We two minor issues which were handled quickly. Parking was unclear, maybe they could leave parking instructions on the counter for when someone shows up.

This was a great place to stay, right on the beach! Close to everything. The parking was iffy. There really isn't space for two cars though. There are 4 units in this building and really only space for a total of 4 cars. When we were there the other visitors had really large SUVs so if smaller cars maybe. But really no need to drive-you can walk everywhere. Its a nice place with great customer service.

Stop scrolling & book this now! We absolutely loved the location…it was perfect for our family of four (adults). We stepped off the deck onto the white sand for our daily walks on the beach (Gulf of Mexico)…sunsets were spectacular! The condo is one block from the Bradenton Bridge area; we walked everywhere…to restaurants, coffee, ice cream, shopping and to the bay side of the key for the sunrise. The condo had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels and a cooler. We hope to be back again, soon. We had a fabulous time! Don’t pass up a stay at Captain Ron’s!!

We had an amazing stay at this clean, well, equipped and perfect location two bedroom, two bathrooms condo. The two minute walk right to Bridge St., Island Time bar, and all the shops and the pier was so convenient. Waking up every morning and walking right onto the beach was absolutely a dream come true. We got to watch Sunset directly in front of us sitting on the back porch. The condo was very clean and had more than enough amenities for our stay. The beach chairs, the beach towels, the cooler, the pool toys, the barbecue pit and extra charcoal provided and especially the fishing rods, made our vacation so special. We also enjoyed watching multiple movies on all the various streaming channels provided on the TVs that were in each room. We have stayed on Anna Maria Island many times, but this Vrbo was absolutely our favorite. The only thing we would’ve changed was to have a softer king bed in the master bedroom. Definitely will stay here next time.

The location was perfect. Right on the beach, close to trolley stop and Bridge Street. Had all types of amenities as far as games, cards, chairs, cooler, tv’s…..but no coffee or tea for a morning start to the day. My only complaint and I saw this on the reviews before we went, is that the tile floor was dirty. We would get out of the shower and our feet would get dirty. They need a good scrubbing. Especially the kitchen and family room. The doormats were old and need replacing. Other than that, it was just a lovely location. The place is dated but that is reflected in the price. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We had to change location from Sanibel due to Ian. Had been to AMI for many years & loved it. It did not disappoint. Property is in a great location, clean, steps from white sand beach, well equipped in every way from beach chairs to kitchen! Bridge St was lively, decorated for the Holidays & has good shops, food, fun.

Property is on the beach. Open back sliders and your there. Sunsets were spectacular and my favorite part of the trip, along with early morning beach walks before the beach gets busy. Several fishing piers along this beach. Several stores and restaurants within walking distance. Condo had everything we needed and more than expected. Indoor and outdoor games, beach equipment including chairs and umbrella, hose on porch to clean off before going inside. Quiet. AC worked great. Kitchen had everything expected. Washer and dryer worked fine. Check in was a breeze. Would definitely come back to this location. Thanks for a memorable, problem free trip!

Great location! Nice accommodations. Would definitely stay there again and recommend. A couple suggestions: Get a different coffee pot and throw that one out! Provide more towels. Provide directions on what is recycled. Could not get ice maker to work.

Wonderful place right on the beach! Just a short walk to many great restaurants and shops. We didn’t even need our car except for going to get groceries and that’s just a short drive up the road. We would stay here next time we are visiting the area!

What a view! If you want to be ON the beach this is the unit for you. Out the porch door, down 3 steps to sand. Perfect for a family with small children where you don't want to have them crossing too many streets or hauling their gear too far. Unit is perfectly fine with good rainy day amenities and lots of beach toys and things to use when you are there. You are right next to bridge street so shopping, mini golf and ice cream are all just steps away with many restaurants at your finger tips. We will absolutely look at renting this unit again next time we are in AMI.

Excellent beach bum experience with family! Beach right out our front door! We enjoyed this property for the 2 day stay and would like to stay longer in the future. All restaurants and shops right out the back door to walk to. We never got in the car! Definitely an excellent choice! Our daughter and grandchildren loved it!

Everything was pretty great about this property. The location and beach view for sure! Plenty of dishes, towels, etc. Air conditioning was excellent. The only complaint would be the mattresses. They were very uncomfortable. A mattress pad topper may help!

Excellent location Nice quiet beach and the shop It's so nice they have everything beach chairs umbrellas fishing rod sand toys and camping beds instead of using sofa bed we used camping bed it was so comfortable House is nice and clean but i gave them 4 star because bathroom tup and Faucet is kind old. And i hope they have more big pots for the cooking Our family really enjoyed If I go to the beach again, I want to reserve this house again.

My husband and I stayed here close to two weeks in October. I can't say enough about this cottage. The cottage was perfect, loved the atmosphere, location and view. It was right on the beach. The place was well stocked(maybe add a few more pots and pans). We loved that the place was dog friendly. You can't beat the location being central to everything, restaurants, shopping and grocery. We will definitely be staying here again when in the area! I really can't say enough about this place!!

Very enjoyable. Took trash out when supposed to. By 7:15am units on opposite side had took both cans empty because they didn’t take theirs out. To much conflict on their part to get them back. Didn’t want to cause disturbance

Amazing view and location. First floor unit, two steps down from the porch and your toes are in the sand. The unit is clean and well appointed, and has everything you need to hit the beach, even coolers. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Only used the car once to go to St Armand’s circle in Sarasota. Perfectly located 1/2 a block from Bridge Street and other restaurants are a couple of blocks away. Hope Capt Ron’s is available for our next beach getaway. We absolutely loved it!
