My family has rented Covy Cottage 3 times and we’ll continue to return. We found it very comfortable, located in a central area close to restaurants and the beach. The property is clean with minimal supplies provided (states that in description). I wish they would provide additional blankets for the rooms and maybe extra towels. We had a problem with one of the shower doors and they sent someone over the next day to look at it. They needed additional parts so it couldn’t be fixed during our stay. All and all I would recommend this property to friends and family.

After the beginning of the year, all I wanted was to go somewhere and just be present and happy. I stayed in this amazing house. I could walk to my left and go to a more private beach or watch my right and go to a more public beach. The water was beautiful, the surrounding town is adorable. And the house was perfect.

We stayed here at the Covey Cottage February 3rd to the 7th. Beautiful home located within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with heated pool. The home has everything you need for your stay. The property management group was outstanding, were in contact with us several times making sure our stay was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at the Covey Cottage with our 2 year old and 4 month old daughters. The house was clean, matched the pictures, and the backyard pool area was even nicer in person. There was a basket of various pool & beach toys to play with, along with a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and a beach wagon. They also provided plenty of pool towels. There is a separate air conditioning unit to the upper master bedroom and bathroom which was really nice to have. The location was great and very walkable to local shops and restaurants.

Lovely cottage! You could walk every where and such an easy stroll to the beach as well. Loved the yard with pool! The only thing is they need to spray for mosquitos. Sitting outside, we kept getting bitten. Also, the pool was heated but barely. There was no way we could turn it up because the heater dial was locked up. But all in all the property was fantastic!

Our family of 7 spent four days in AMI. We loved the house and it was much larger than we expected. It was a short walk to the beach and to the shops on Pine Street. Everything in Anna Maria is quite expensive but we really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a terrific time on AMI and the house worked beautifully for us. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The heated pool was beautiful and also very clean, the backyard was private and we loved the outdoor shower. We especially liked all of the beach amenities available: towels, beach chairs and a very useful cart we could use for all of the above and simply wheel down to the beach. When I had to call the office several times with questions, everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

This is the second stay at Covy Cottage. We love the location and the amount of room we have in the house. They had a slim but useful welcome package. I realize not much can be done but the mosquitoes in the backyard are pretty intense after 5:00. We had a great time and would rent again.

This house exceeded my expectations! Went for a quick girl's weekend and the location was perfect. Easy walk to beach - right next to Pine Street with all the shops and little restaurants - and an easy Uber ride to the other end of the island. A very satisfying experience. The place is beautiful and there are many options to distract yourself from small cart rentals and spectacular sunsets. The house where we stayed was very clean and comfortable. but I must say that the main room had a bit of a urine smell with no ventilation. I think it may be the type of construction or the vents. maybe you need some deodorant too. but it was a very nice experience. Thank you very much for more places like this.

First time in AMI and this house was wonderful! Perfect location to everything, it was so great having the pool with littles after the beach or a day off from the beach to hangout at the house. The house was much bigger than expected. Also good amount of towels, tp, soap. Appreciated there was a broom (littles tracked in sand). Check in/out was a breeze. Communication was easy and perfect. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved everything about this property. A few blocks from the beach and very nice beach chairs were supplied. The pool is a perfect size with more than enough lounge chairs and seating. An original cottage has been updated with a bathroom, with shower, for each bedroom. The kitchen and dining area is big and clean. We will come back.

The house was nicely decorated and very clean. The only criticism I would say is maybe more beach towels. Prepare yourself to bring dishwasher detergent dish soap paper towels because the house comes with just the bare minimum as far as stuff like that. It would have been nice to have a couple extra blankets and some pillows. The backyard is amazing the pool was wonderful very close to all of the beaches and some cute shops and restaurants. We will be renting from them again.

We spent a week in February with our adult daughter and son in law and their 2 young kids. (4 and just under 2). Layout of house was perfect. We (grandparents) had the master bedroom upstairs. The parents had a bedroom and the kids had a bedroom. All had their own bathroom. The heated pool was great for the little kids. They loved it and so did we. We swam in it at 64 degrees and raining. The location is awesome. 0.2 miles to bay (and the Waterfront Restaurant) and 0.4 miles to the gulf and an awesome beach. The Waterfront Restaurant is our favorite by far on the island.

The home is set up in such a beautiful way to live as a family while on vacation. We traveled from 3 different locations to gather as a family in this home. Home cooked meals with a few trips out to local restaurants, grilled, walked to the beach with the wagon and chairs provided. Coffee on the porch in the morning and cool drinks by the pool in the afternoon and evening. Really enjoyed our time at Covey Cottage.

The house was perfect. Way bigger than it looks from the outside! The bedrooms were great (although the same with any vacation rental, an upgrade in pillows would be nice). The kitchen had every cooking utensil/gadget/etc you would need on vacation, we cooked just about every meal in. The front porch in the AM is amazing, as well as in the evening when the bugs come out. You could walk to water in any direction. The Waterfront restaurant was delicious and convenient, we went twice. And the Island Fitness center around the corner was perfect. I’m definitely going to recommend this to friends!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage with our two little ones. The house has the charm of an older home with modern updates, and is well stocked with dishes, towels, and pool toys. The pool and large shaded backyard were perfect for our toddler. We’ve visited AMI a couple of times and loved this location- it’s a quick walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, but still felt quiet and secluded. The rental company was helpful and attentive when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, comfortable cottage type property. We enjoyed all aspects of the house from morning coffee in the front enclosed porch, to sitting in the yard, around the pool, in the afternoon. Fully equipped kitchen, also used gas grill in the yard. Nice quiet street, just a couple blocks to beach and restaurants. Very large white sandy beaches, no crowds, beautiful sunsets. Check-in process was perfectly smooth, access code given to enter the home, no office to stop at to pick up keys. Would definitely stay again!! ☆☆☆☆☆

We had the best vacation at Covey Cottage! This historic home is so charming & spacious! We had enough room for the whole family to spread out & the updated kitchen & laundry room were great! The whole family loved the beautiful, tropical back yard with the amazing pool & outdoor shower & grill! The house was in the perfect spot, just a couple minute walk to the ocean or the bay, & shops and restaurants are just around the corner! We can’t wait to come back next Summer!

The neighborhood is an odd mix of old homes and new construction. Somehow the mix suits the island. The house was very comfortable and nice for my family of five. The pool is a nice bonus even though the beach is a short walk away. The house had beach towels and beach chairs for us to use. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of options if you like to eat in. Be sure and go to the store ahead of time and bring along things like laundry/dishwasher soap, TP, and paper towels. We loved our vacation and look forward to our next.

Nicely updated home and even larger inside than pictures show. Truly relaxing!!! Well located for easy walk/bike ride to nearby Pine Ave. shops, restaurants and, of course, the beaches at either end of the street! Our week started out rainy but the house never felt closed in with the open interiors and front porch. Heated pool was great for a swim before breakfast. Looking forward to returning!

We were told we were the first to stay at Covey Cottage in 2016. Very pleased to see the the cottage was exactly what we saw when we first walked in back in February 2016. There is a new home going up next door with the main living area is above the garage probably due to building regulations. There is a deck off the main floor which can see into the cottage's pool area. That is a privacy issue which I think should be addressed. Otherwise Happy Vacationeers.

This is a nice house in the smaller part of the island. You are two blocks to the bay side and four blocks to the gulf side of the island. The location is great for people who want to stay in the less busy part of the island. The house is newly remodeled. It has its old island charm and quirky layout, but the owners did a nice job cleaning it up. New kitchen, new floors, new bathrooms and a new patio. The kitchen has been supplied with above average cookware and utensils. We cooked almost every dinner with no issues. The house also has an alarm on the door to the pool so parents can know if young ones are trying to venture out.
