Malibu Beach

We had a wonderful time at this house and island. Comfortable fit 16 adults/teenagers. Had a great time using the pool, ping pong and foosball table. Very walkable to beach, shops, restaurants and activities. We rented a golf cart for the week and a great way to see the entire island and grocery shop. We enjoyed the rooftop for morning coffees, sunset and sunbathing. AMI was very proactive on communicating a broken washer and dryer and making accommodations if we needed them. The unit has 2 washer/dryers so one set worked and didn’t create any problems.
Highly recommend! The location was perfect!

We brought our children, their spouses and all 7 grandchildren together here for our anniversary. Everyone had a terrific time. House was great with everyone having their own space and meeting in kitchen where we had most of our meals was perfect. Pool couldn’t have been more used and loved. Walk to beach was a breeze with wagon full of chairs ready for us. Location was a residential feel surrounded by shops and restaurants in walkning distance. We loved this place!!!

Whoa! This home was absolutely unbelievable! And, as if that wasn't enough, the communication and responsiveness of AMI Locals was spot-on! When the 12 of us got settled in, we took a quick inventory of everything and let AMI Locals know about our concerns. We really loved the house and its location. Spacious and beautifully decorated, and so close to the beach and the Holmes beach restaurants— Freckled Fin, Hurricane Hank’s and the Feast were awesome and the Sun and Surf shop was great for souvenirs. We rented bikes and it was a fun ride up to get donuts and ice cream in Anna Maria. A few quibbles on the house— as others noted, the pool heater was not functioning properly and we only got to enjoy the spa once. Reach out immediately if it’s not warming up! Also, the kitchen is not that well equipped for cooking— plenty of dishes but short on gadgets and large utensils. A tea kettle and larger mugs would be nice! Also more outdoor furniture— lots of balconies but no place to sit and enjoy. Still, just quibbles, we loved it and even our finicky teens wanted to come back!

Our family had a wonderful time at Malibu Beach. With 8 Bedrooms and 7 Baths, it was perfect for our large family of 17. There are several balconies & a roof top deck that is perfect to be able to look out over the Island, the Bay and the Gulf. The Kitchen & Baths are so well stocked for a large family. There are plenty of large serving dishes, pots & pans, glasses, silverware & every utensil you could possibly want. There are lots of towels & beach towels available and with having 2 washer & dryer sets you will never run out. The gorgeous pool & outdoor living area is the best of any house that we have ever rented. Everyone in our family, from the age of 68 to 18 months thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful resort style area. The beach is a very short two block walk. Having a wagon to transport several beach chairs and umbrellas was so helpful. The beach is so beautiful & the water is so clean & such a pretty color of blue. We had a great time and made some wonderful memories! We look forward to renting this house again!

We had 16 adults for my 50th Birthday party. This house was perfect. Everyone felt they had their own space and privacy with the ample bedrooms and baths. The location was perfect too! Close to beach, trolley stop, etc. Also, AMI was great as everyone was coming from different directions so there were 3 airports to choose from. Highly recommend Malibu Beach! You won't be disappointed.

This property is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in for vacation. The actual build of the property is excellent and it has everything you will need for a large group or family. WOW… everyone in our large family couldn’t stop talking about this place and its perfect location. We had easy access to just about anything you want or need while on our vacation (i.e. beach, pool, restaurants, shops, stores, etc). We typically spent the morning at the beach and the afternoon/evening in the awesome private backyard in the pool. We had no issues with all 14 members of our family, with plenty of room. The beach access was only 1-2 blocks and our part of the beach was never crowded. We did have a few issues/questions during our stay but Andrea always responded immediately and got them all taken care of or answered for us quickly. We would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a perfect beach getaway. We will be back!

We had such a fabulous stay at this house! We loved so many things that it is hard to list them all. We loved the pool the most and probably spent the most of our vacation out there! The beach is so close and we enjoyed visiting that as well! The features that made it extra special was the 2 washer and dryers, the 2 fridges with 1 being downstairs, the water slide and the just overall feel of a beach house! 15 people, 3 generations, kids teenagers to toddlers - everyone had a blast!!! The location is perfect - It was our first time staying on Anna Maria Island and it is just beautiful there. Even though it was during high season, it didn't feel like it. Beach is just a short block and a half from the house and there is a handy cart and beach chairs to make getting back and forth easier. Around the corner is a little shopping square with lovely shops to poke around in. Publix is nearby and they will deliver. There is so much to do on the island and its all so close to the house. The house - Very tastefully decorated, well stocked and room for a crowd to live comfortably. We cooked most meals there and had no issues. Fridge in the garage was very handy for beverages. Laundry rooom with double washer and dryer was great! Rooms and washrooms were well appointed, had excellent light, enough room and storage and were comfortable. Lots of balconies, we didn't use them a whole lot as we spent most of our time at the pool or beach. Not a lot of furniture on them but enough for 3-4 people to sit and enjoy. Sunsets from the rooftop balcony were lovely. Pool was amazing and the space around the pool was spacious enough to accommodate everyone. It was a great size and had lost of shallow areas but was deep enough for swimming and jumping. The kids (and adults) loved the slide and we spent hours everyday in the pool. The pool service was very responsive if we had any issues. There is alot of greenery around the pool and we were worried about too much shade - but the pool gets great sun and towards the end of the day the shaded parts of the pool are welcome. There were alot of mosquitoes in the evening - so have some protection available so you can enjoy the outside space in the evening (this was not isolated to the house but in outdoor restaurants as well). We would rent this house again and we will definitely come back to Anna Maria island again..thank you for the use of your beautiful vacation home.

We traveled with a party of 11 adults from April 6-13, 2019. The house was large enough that we all felt we had our own space and privacy. The walk to the beach was super easy as was the walk to the local bars and Keyes Marina where we kept our boat for the week. The house was beautifully decorated and clean. Plenty of beach towels were provided as were 8 beach chairs and beach cart. There were two washing machines and two dryers which made doing daily laundry and towels each day easy. The kitchen is more than adequately stocked. There were two coffee pots and two crockpots as well as plenty of various kitchen utensils. We spent most of the time at the pool which was heated to an enjoyable temperature. The landscaping was so nice that we felt like we were on our own private paradise resort. The grill was not functioning properly, so we contacted Andrea and the grill was replaced within a day. This was a really great place to stay and we would recommend it with confidence.

Our family enjoyed our 8 day stay at the Holmes Beach House. The house was in perfect condition and has been well maintained. The pool area is terrific and our grandkids loved it! Beach is an easy walk, local restaurants/bars easy walk and free trolleys get you anywhere on the island you want to go. AMI team is very responsive and helpful for whatever the need. Fabulous house, pool and outside areas! Having a bathroom for almost every bedroom was fantastic. Short 2 block walk to beautiful, uncrowded beach. Plenty of beach toys for grand kids and beach chairs and towels for all. Amazing sunsets over water! Great kitchen and open space for hanging out. We had 8 adults and 3 babies and never felt crowded. We loved that we could walk to restaurants, shops and even a beer run. No need for car except to get to Publix short drive away. Awesome laundry set up with 2 washers and 2 dryers - perfect for washing heavy beach towels. Adults loved hot tub and TV by pool. Owners/property managers wonderful and responsive. Highly recommend!

This is the perfect blend of home meets hotel. We had a large party so the fact that almost each room had its own bathroom, tv and king size bed - everyone was able to get some private time if they did not want to hang out in the large kitchen, amazing pool/lanai area or the islands amentities which were literal STEPS away. This is actually a steal if you consider all the pluses, size and cost - we are definitely coming back here again or renting other properties from AMI Locals

The house is beautiful! The pool, hot tub and beach (two easy blocks away) were great!! The pool which was heated to a perfect temperature was our favorite. Proximity to shopping, restaurants and unfortunately urgent care (grandchildren with ear infections) were great as well. We loved riding the free trolley ( two easy blocks away) to the various beach parks also. We visited in late November and the weather was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with dinner ware and pans. Our only suggestion would be to provide more pool friendly plastic plates and cups. Other than this the house was perfect! (spotless, really fun and in a great location) It also was equipped with many pool, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels and a beach wagon! We had a wonderful stay!!! Thank you AMI!!

My four daughters, their husbands, and all the grandkids had a magical week here. The house is decorated in a bright, beachy decor and it is so comfortable and clean. The best part was the pool with waterfall and water slide! My grandkids loved it, and so did the adults! The rooftop deck has wonderful views. Andrea is so helpful and attentive. Beach is incredible, and there are great restaurants. We loved the Doctor’s Office Bar, a fun place for a refreshing drink.

We were a large group of extended family with 3 kids and this was perfect for us. Some had mobility issues and having suites on the main floor really helped. All rooms with King beds and 7/8 with private bathrooms meant no awkwardness in assigning rooms. Beach was 5 min walk to beautiful sunsets and the pool/waterslide/hot tub was a favorite for the kids. Location was amazing with shops nearby. Kitchen was well stocked with enough cups and cutlery for a large group. Can't recommend it highly enough!

We had a great time on Anna Maria Island and staying in this house made it even better. Every couple had their own king size bed with a bathroom and that is a big bonus in our book. The house was equipped with everything needed to make your stay perfect. We really enjoyed the outside pool and game area. Just beware of the noise ordinance and a neighbor that doesn’t like music playing even before 6 pm but there was no problem after turning the music down and going inside. This house is perfect and we enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this house for traveling couples or even families. Perfect location and well maintained. My dads 80th birthday celebration brought us to Anna Maria Island. It proved to be a week we will treasure forever. The Malibu Beach house served as the perfect gathering place for our family of 12. We loved gathering in the kitchen for coffee in the mornings and lounging by the warm pool and sunbathing at the beach in the afternoons. Evenings were spent watching the sunset on the rooftop deck followed by dinner out. (Waterfront , The Sand Bar, The Ugly Grouper, The Feast, Rod & Reel, Old Hamburg Schnitzelhaus, Duffy's, Hurricane Hanks, Jessies Island Store, just to name a few). I Spent a few hours shopping and LOVED Ginny and Jane E a cool store full of funky items. The Pontoon rental was a last minute decision and a GREAT day on the water, with dolphin sighting as a bonus. I loved the uncrowded peaceful beach with powdery white sand, easily accessible by foot, bike or golf cart. The house has plenty of beach chairs, towels and a wagon for beach fun. If you have spent hours searching for the perfect beach house rental as we did, STOP searching. Malibu Beach is all you need.

This home was a perfect fit for our trip!!! We had 6 couples and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom!! The house was spotless when we arrived and it looked brand new!!! The pool and spa were our own special paradise!! The beach was within walking distance, and for longer trips we rented golf carts. In the evening we went up to the top deck and watched the beautiful sunset!! Andrea was amazing and so down to earth to work with! She offered advice on great places to eat and fun things to do! One day we went across the street to the marina and rented a pontoon boat and spent the day on this expansive sand bar, we discovered a starfish and several shells. On our trip back to the AMI Marina we came across dolphins. Another day we went to the Rod and Reel Pier, and for two dollars you can rent a fishing pole and fish off the pier. The week was filled with all kinds of fantastic memories and I highly recommend this place for family gatherings or couple getaways!

Great to hear that you were able to take advantage of the phenomenal weather we had during your stay so you could enjoy your pontoon boat rental and the rooftop deck to their fullest. As for inside the house, 6 couples each with their own bedroom and bathroom! It is wonderful to gather with family and friends, but sometimes you still need your own quiet time. Everything was PERFECT!!! This amazing home has everything that you could possibly need or want. It looked just like the pictures describe it. VERY CLEAN and tastefully decorated. Andrea made sure that everything was ready for us when we arrived. She is amazing and we thank her for her kindness. We rented two golf carts from Fun and More. They delivered and picked them up which was very convenient. Our favorite restaurants we're The Feast which is only a block away, The Sand Bar and The Waterfront. This was our first time visiting Anna Maria Island and it will be on my bucket list to return for a repeat trip to this beautiful home.

My friends and I stayed at Andrea's home for a birthday celebration and were flabbergasted by how incredibly awesome and accommodating the house was. The pictures were all accurate and the house was extremely clean upon arrival. We loved the fact that 7 of the 8 rooms had king size beds and their own bathrooms. With such a large group, this provided everyone with a sense of privacy and personal space in a group setting. Additionally, the location was PERFECT for everything we needed and wanted to do. The house is a very short walk to great restaurants, shops, water activities, and only 467 steps from the beach (according to our count!). We also enjoyed the convenience of the Monkey Bus when getting to places further away on the island. We parked our cars when we arrived and never had to use them again until we left! Check in and check out were super easy and convenient.
Andrea was an excellent host and was very thorough and prompt in her communication before, during, and after our stay. She did everything to make sure the stay was perfect and even left us a "treat basket" when we arrived. I did have to contact her a couple of times during our stay (a leaky faucet and an entry code issue) and she responded quickly, fixing both minor mishaps in a timely manner. In addition to making sure our stay was perfect, Andrea went above and beyond when one of my friends left some items behind and even made a run to a store for me after we had left. She took her own time to package the items up and make sure they got mailed back (obviously with reimbursement from me).
I would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in a beautiful house with a TON to do in and around it! We look forward to booking with Andrea again and enjoying more time on Anna Maria Island.

Andrea's home was just as described and she was a wonderful host, even leaving us a little gift basket upon arrival. The house was beautiful, clean, and a very short walk to a wonderful beach. It was exactly what our group was looking for. We only had one small snafu during our stay regarding a daytime noise ordinance, but she was quick to respond and helped clear up the issue.
