Everything as described. One thing that i either missed or wasn’t on description is that the unit comes with a large beach umbrella and two smaller ones. If you are driving down no need to bring one. Other beach gear included: chairs, wagon to lug beach gear.
Pool was great! Patio was plenty large.
Also garage is not part of the rental. (Owner had car parked there)
Overall will stay at this place again, convenient, short walk to Ugly grouper, pizza and other coffee shops/stores. Quiet neighborhood.

Our family enjoyed our 7 day stay at AMI! The location of the apartment is very convenient and walking distance to the beach! The apartment was very cozy and clean. Located in a super quiet neighborhood with private backyard. There was another family staying in the neighboring apartment and there was zero noise once inside the house. The best part of this apartment was definitely the pool!!! The most perfect yard was just magical! We loved everything about the place. It is ideal for 4 or less people. The only thing is there were only 4 beach towels available. Would be nice to have at least 6. Also it would be nice to add some curtains in the smaller bedroom to block out the morning sun. Not an ideal room if you have small kids or want to sleep in since they will be up with the sun :)

Proximity to the beach was great, not much of a walk at all compared to other places we have stayed. Appreciated the heavy-duty wagon, chairs and umbrellas for use at the beach. Also liked the addition of the washer and dryer. When we originally inquired before locking down the rental we were told there was none. Pool area was awesome - like our own tropical oasis ... that was the best part of the property. Enjoyed the balcony off the kitchen too. Teens enjoyed their own private balcony as well. Plenty of room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teens). Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful, well-appointed space. The pool area is absolutely stunning. Beds comfy. Kitchen has plenty of dishes and cooking items. Would be nice to have a few staples like salt and pepper and coffee filters provided. They do provide a roll of paper towels and a couple of dishwasher pods, which for a week long stay was enough. Easy 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay! The location is perfect. The pool area is AMAZING! There is a washer and dryer in the garage that is not listed. The house was very clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying here.

We sure had a lovely week at this home! The walk to the beach was quick, even my 5 year old could walk it a few times a day. The kitchen was well-stocked. Lots of regular towels and beach towels. Not advertised- there is a washing machine and dryer in the garage available for use. There is also plenty of beach toys, chairs, a wagon, a canopy, floats, etc. the house was very clean. We would definitely stay again!

Extremely well equipped house especially the kitchen. Great location on a quiet street 5 mins from the beach. Super clean pool. All the pool/beach equipment you need inc beach towels. We love Anna Maria and our stay at pineapple palms did not disappoint.

Perfect for a family of 4. Five-minute walk to the beach, house was equipped with beach chairs, toys, etc and had a much-needed wagon to make the walk to the beach easy and manageable. The pool was terrific - it was a nice cool down after the walk back from the beach, and was our own tropical oasis. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family really enjoyed the stay. The backyard was the perfect oasis private spot with shade areas were perfect after after a day at the beach! The inside was clean and worked great for our family (2 kids 6and under + 2 adults). The stairs we thought might be an issue with kids but it was not an issue at all. The only “cons”: the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils but lacked some general seasonings. It would of been nice to have an outdoor shower or easy hose off area for sand by gate opening. We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely book the rental again for next year. We did have a golf cart for the week and we said it was the best idea. We didn’t use are car once for the week. It was also very helpful they provided some beach items! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

I would highly recommend this rental.. the description is spot on. My kids are 11 and 12 and they both loved our vacation. It was our first time to Anna Maria island and I knew little about it. The location of the home is a perfect spot, far enough away from the traffic but close enough to just run to the store. Kitchen was stocked with many dishes, utensils and pots and pans. Plenty of beach towels available to use. I would recommend going to the dollar store to shop for condiments/water/soap ect vs buying it all at the grocery store. The grocery store was very busy and crowded even on Sunday after arrival. The house is 2 blocks from the beach, although close enough to walk if needed, carrying beach chairs, towels, ect. Would have been way too much work(even with the provided beach caddy). We rented a golf cart, which you did not need but reviews of the island highly recommended. I would say it was 50/50 on actually needing it. The kids loved it but electric ones do not go very fast and we seemed to hold up traffic. Overall this house was amazing and I would definitly stay again.

We truly enjoyed our first stay on AMI. The layout of the house and pool area was perfect for 2 adult couples. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Location was great. However there were a few amenities that has always been provided at other VRBO properties that were missing, such as trash bags, extra paper towels, hair dryer, and ONLY ONE WASHCLOTH was provided between 2 bathrooms. That being said, we would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great visit to Pineapple Palms. The pool was fabulous, private and made you feel like you were on the islands. Villa is the perfect size for a family of 4, comfortable beds, nice updated bathrooms, very well equipped with everything you need. Lots of beach chairs, beach towels, pool toys, cart for the beach and sand toys. It was the perfect week, we did not want to leave. There is not an outside shower, only suggestion. We will be back!

Loved our summer week at Pineapple Palms! Everything in the photos and description were accurate, although the "villa" is attached to another rental unit. But the entrances are on the sides and the backyards and pools are private, and we barely saw or heard our neighbors all week. But townhome or duplex might be more accurate since villa implies free-standing building to me. The unit was very clean and everything was in working order, and the property managers were very responsive. One minor thing-- the welcome pack includes a single unit of dish washer and laundry soap. That's pretty annoying because you're expected to wash your towels and dishes. At a minimum the property managers should offer to sell you a week's worth of soaps at checkin, otherwise plan to buy those when you stock up for the week. Same for TP and paper towels. The owners leave helpful notes all around, so the total vibe is welcoming and everything is comfortable. The showers are nice and hot, the beds are hotel-grade, the linens were clean and pretty soft. My best VRBO experience, no doubt. One note of caution-- the mosquitos are bad on AMI in the summer, so plan to bring DEET. From dawn to mid-morning and at dusk, most days the pool area wasn't usable. Our kids were in the pool and had 3-5 mosquitos on their faces! This is a problem for AMI and Manatee County in general, and not this unit, and this year was the worst I've seen in 30 years in the area. Also the internet works great but the WiFi is unsecured. I recommend securing it with a password for the duration of your visit and then removing the password before leaving. This will avoid any entanglements from nearby renters doing something illegal on your network. To do that connect to the WiFi and point your browser to 192.168.2.1 and in the admin go to "security" and set a password. If that's too complicated just unplug the router -- you should be going to the beach anyway! In all, have fun, we highly enjoyed the Pineapple Palms and recommend it!

We had a fantastic experience at Pineapple Palms with our 4 and 1 year old kids. We visit AMI 2x/year and have rented many different properties in this area of Holmes Beach. Pineapple Palms had the best pool area of any property we have rented. The unit is a little on the small side, but we would much rather spend our time outdoors anyway. This property also feels more like a home than most. The kitchen was well stocked with much more than just the basics, there were even plastic plates and bowls. And the management company did a fantastic job. Bonus-the master bed is very comfortable!

Anyone who has been to Anna Maria knows how laid back it is but Pineapple Palms reaches the definition of Paradise! The backyard is an Oasis with its thick tropical Palm trees, cannot see any neighbors and blocks out any noise as well. Has a heated pool, gas BBQ grill, tables, chairs, umbrella, don't have to go to the beach if you do not want to, but if you want to you are only a block and a half from a beach access. Another nice feature is you are in the middle of the block on a side street, so no through traffic, very safe and very quiet. The house is so beachy, light and airy, complete with everything you need, dishes, linens, pool towels and a washer and dryer for your long stay because once you stay here you will not want to leave! Pineapple Palms is close to many restaurants, beach access, shopping and the free Anna Maria Island trolley that you can ride all over the island at no charge. You can tell the owners went the extra mile to make you feel at home, there are books, board games, beach supplies. Perfect family or romantic get away, I cant wait to get back to Pineapple palms and Anna Maria.
