We wanted a stress-free relaxing weekend and that's exactly what we had. Several restaurants were within walking distance and the beach was just a block away. The sunsets were absolutely amazing and peaceful. The house was clean and exactly as described, we loved the nostalgic look & feel of the house. Everything was as it should have been, actually the house exceeded our expectations. We knew it was an older house which is what drew our attention to it, we anticipated a few inconveniences but there absolutely none. AMI was extremely proactive before during and after the rental. I would not hesitate to rent any property from AMI. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

Location, location, location!! Within walking to distance to great food, drinks and the beach 🏖️ Extremely clean and loaded with everything you need. The only thing I would recommend is maybe having firm and soft pillows.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hideaway. The beach was a three minute walk and the hop on and off trolly was extremely close. The historic home was charming and very unique.

Excellent location. Super quick walk to the beach and easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be more seating in the living room, it was a little tight with one couch. We spent so much time exploring or at the beach so it wasn’t a big deal for us. The king beds and pillows were very comfortable after a long day out and about. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

We loved our stay as a family with teens. The layout of the house was great and the location couldn’t be beat! We walked to Pine Street for dining/shopping and were just a few houses from the beach! Even though the house is right on the main street once evening fell it was very quiet and there was no road noise. The uniqueness of the interior was actually very charming in person!

We loved this house! The location is fantastic for beach access and our family has lived on this street for 50 years so it was perfect.
I will say, the place itself had a bit of a strange layout and could use some updating (AC couldn’t keep up with the heat and it was 76-78 in the evenings but the humidity was low so it wasn’t horrible). The door to Palm Ave is a bit janky and the front door to Gulf Dr isn’t very secure with little kids around (a deadbolt they can easily turn and an easy handle). Extra things for kiddos to do and a vacuum would’ve been wonderful too!
Overall, we loved it though and would recommend it!

Sweet property on the corner in the middle of town. Could walk to all the local businesses! Beach access was amazing! We were just a minute walk to the beach! Place was clean and tidy with enough essentials to get us going! Communication was fantastic!

The location was really nice, near restaurants,shops and the beach. But not super close to any grocery, I’d stop at one before getting on the island! The house itself was clean and spacious. We liked that all the rooms had king beds and the AC worked really well. Overall it was a great stay! My few recommendations to the owner would be adding more mirrors! It was a girls trip and there is only small mirrors in the bathrooms and one other room. No full body mirrors at all. We really struggled with that getting ready. The owner also mentioned it wouldn’t be necessary to get a golf cart rental, but I’d disagree depending on where you’re going. If you want to see parts of the whole island, I would recommend it, as we found the trolley to be really unreliable half the time. It was Memorial Day weekend though, so that could’ve been why. Overall a good stay!

It was a beautiful stay! We enjoyed the charm of the stone beach house. Mostly the easy access and walk to the beach! Restaurants and shops all right there across the street! Very comfortable house and clean! The kitchen was well stocked! King size bedrooms very nice.

A slight hiccup with check in as the place didn’t have running ac! We were immediately relocated within minutes!! Great communication with customer service! They were friendly and very accommodating! We were relocated to a much better place! My family and I were extremely pleased! We will definitely book again!

We had the most perfect vacation at The Hideaway! What a SPOT! Perfectly clean, much bigger and roomier than the photos! Location, location, location. A two-minute walk to a gorgeous beach, so many places for coffee, groceries, a drink, dinner, ice cream, rentals. The hosts were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and everything was spotless. We will be back!!!

Can’t say enough positive things. Location was ideal. Rooms and kitchen are spacious, well equipped and clean. Walking distance to everything including beautiful beach. Staff was very responsive about any of our questions. We even left a couple items there that they promptly had shipped to us. Our in laws came for a day visit and loved it so much they booked on the spot. We will definitely go again. Thank you!

Great location. Space between the bedrooms was far enough you could have down time. Would go back. The location was great. Right down the street to beaches. Walk to restaurants and shops. Got a little loud at night but only until 10p when the area goes into quiet zone. Didnt know there was a washer and dryer we could use. That would have been good to know beforehand. There were unknown golfcarts parked in the driveway which we didnt understand why and got some different answers to. Some of the conveniently located outlets didn't work. Still great place and would go back.

I gave it a 4 since we received the amount of the pet fee after we booked the reservation. We are local and had I known how much the fee prior to I would have had the choice to either leave them with a sitter or board them. All in all - we would stay here again.

Adorable, and quaint cottage with plenty of room for all of us. Particularly loved the three bedrooms with a king size bed in the each. Walkability to retail and Beach was very easy. Only about five properties between this cottage and the beach on a quiet side street. Wonderful little restaurant about a block away as well as across the street and an ice cream shop. Lots of great little souvenirs in Ginny and Jane’s restaurant which is packed. The agency, a AMI, was always available and extremely helpful with any questions … will definitely visit again.

This was a perfect location! Definite 4-5 out of 5 stars. The kitchen could definitely be stocked with more necessity items for cooking at home. The grill could use some grilling utensils - maybe they were somewhere we couldn’t find them? It was super cool the house had a wagon, a few beach chairs and an umbrella. Super quick 2 min walk to the beach. Nice restaurants. Free Trolley and free monkey bus on the island which is so convenient. We will definitely be coming back again. I will say - checking in early is not really flexible - at least it wasn’t for us so we had to haul our luggage around for a couple hours in the heat which wasn’t fun, but the wait was definitely worth it as the weather was perfect during our stay. So if you are banking on being able to check in early - I would have a plan B just in case. Very beautiful stone home on the corner.

We had a great stay at the Hideaway! We loved the old Florida style cottage. It was a great location with a short walk to the beautiful beach and restaurants. It is on a busy corner, but we didn’t mind and once inside you couldn’t tell. We look forward to coming back!

Very unique, fun, and well-located rental. Super easy walk to the beach and also many other AMI shops and restaurants within walking distance. The house itself is a cool, funky old stone structure nicely remodeled to make it current and comfortable. Some reviews mentioned it being at a busy intersection - while this is true, it was not an issue for us - the stone house was very quiet and we didn't really notice outside traffic noise. If you have super young kids or a pet and are worried about proximity to traffic for that reason that is one thing, but just from a noise perspective we had no issues - it was fun to be able to sit outside and enjoy the hustle and bustle and people-watch if we wanted to but then go inside and have things feel very private and quite. And again - easy 1-block walk to the beach is hard to beat! AMI Locals were very clear and prompt in their communications - very easy host to rent from.

We loved every minute on Anna Marie Island . Our property was the best ! It was very clean with lots of amenities as well as the prime location . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was absolutely perfect! Extremely clean, great amenities (including a washer and dryer), comfortable beds and pillows, beach chairs for use around back. Short walk to the beach and close to so many amazing cafes, restaurants, bars etc. We will definitely choose this rental again! The communication from AMI locals was prompt and helpful as well! We really liked it. The place brings the feeling that you are in a perfect vacation spot. Beach is few steps away and restaurants are in walking distance. Amazing place to stay in. Enough parking space.

This little property is very clean, fresh, beachy and less than a block from the softest/cleanest beach I’ve been to (and I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia!). We appreciated the parking space, beach toys, wagon and beach chairs, and the proximity to so many cute shops and good food. Only thing that was missing lamps and extra blankets but I’m sure they’ll add those as time goes on. Their office is right across the street and they are very available and helpful. All-in-all, very worth the price.
