Villa #6 Starfish

We loved our visit and were very impressed by the villa. The backyard area was private and not busy, so it felt like our own space. The home was clean upon arrival, and we were very impressed by how cold the bedroom was at night. We would love to stay again the next time we visit Anna Maria Island!

Easy, convenient and peaceful stay. Biked and walked to beach and restaurants. Safe area. Beach 2 blocks away with warm gulf water and white powdery sand. Heated pool with comfy lounge chairs. End of April weather couldn’t have been any better, 82, low humidity, clear skies.

This was an adorable one bedroom place with a lovely community pool just outside. We were comfortable there, though it took a while to learn to work the pool alarm system and avoided it whenever possible. Special thanks to the staff (shout out to Cyndy) for allowing us to store suitcases in their offices until we could get into the condo. That made a huge difference and we were so grateful for the extra service.

This is our second year going to the West Island Villas. There is a few of us that agreed to return at the same time. We all had a great time together and did again this time. Social and fun. Add great weather and location it’s a win.

Perfect! Was so happy with this cute beachy cottage, perfect for 2 and the pup. The shared communal space was so wonderful with a nice size heated pool, plenty of gas grills and beach equipment to go around. Staff at AMI Locals were very friendly and responded quickly to our few requests. Pros: 2 minute walk to beach Outdoor space Heated pool Walkable: peaches, publix, dunkin donuts, skinnys, beach cafe, kiwi fish & chips, cheesecake cutie, los chiludos. Great place for a couple or maybe a few kids. The duplex was spotless. Lit pool at night. Have fake grass in the back which is great. Nice landscaping. There ae some beach toys, a few beach chairs and a wagon. They are the low sitting chairs. I prefer sitting higher but then again I'm older. Place feels safe to be in. Suggestions. Bring extra garbage bags, laundry detergent, any condiments you may need. There are enough flat ware, plates and bowls for about five people. There is a decent grill out back but you will need your own grilling stuff plus something to clean the grill. It was pretty messy. I wasn't grilling myself, but you might. Bring a ROKU if you have it and any passwords for Disney and things like that.. TV is the only weak spot. There is a Public grocery store within walking distance. A bit pricey but Walmarts are a few miles down the road. All in all, this is a great place. Would consider it again. Beach is an easy stroll and it is fantastic. Top restaurant for me was Watertown. A little high but great food.

Great location! Beach access was not at all crowded, and it was indeed a 2 minute walk! As others have said storage was lacking but honestly, we didn’t worry much about it. We spent so little time in the unit that our stuff was fine wherever it landed when we unpacked the car lol
Loved the heated pool for my kiddos when we had to come back from the beach to cook and eat or for when my husband went fishing, it gave them safe swim time in perfect-temperature water!

Nicest pool I've been in for several years. We were fortunate to hhave a clear night and the starry sky was magnificent from the pool. The place was spotless, well decorated and perfect for a couple getaway. The nearby beach is one of the best in Florida. Loved our visit.

Our family only stayed here for one night but it worked very well for our us. It is set up really well to make the most of the space and the pool and outdoor area are really great. It’s just a short walk to the beach and beautiful sunsets!

The place has a 2 minute walk to the beach, the villa style is pretty trendy and modern. Good place for pictures. The kids loved the pool after the day at the beach. The locations is also great, close to Walgreens and Publix, in case you need something last minute. The unit gets really cold at night because of the A/C, you might want to bring or request extra blankets.

The villa way lovely. There were a few things upon arrival that could’ve used touched up but nothing that interfered with our stay. Customer service is average but not overly friendly with the exception of Q who was wonderful. The heated pool was a nice touch. Overall a great stay.

Very nice place, the only suggestion is to take your own sleeping bag or airbed if your group is of four. The sofabed was not comfortable at all. besides that everything was wonderful really enjoyed our stay. The beach is within walking distance.

Great little place. Location is wonderful...quiet, felt very safe, easy walk to everything...beach, grocery, coffee, restaurants. Bedroom is very tight, no closet or dresser, have to squeeze around suitcases to get in and out of bed, but living area, kitchen area and outdoor areas are wonderful and plenty spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay here! Within walking distance to stores, including Publix, Dunkin Donuts and CVS, and to the beach. With the pool in the backyard, we got the best of both worlds! Pool area was nice and clean, including the furniture. Inside the unit, we appreciated the special touches and cleanliness. The only thing I did not like was the window on the front door - if you turn the front porch light on at night, the light shines in through that window while trying to sleep. So you have to close the door = very minor. The trolley stop is just right in front of Publix which was awesome. Will definitely stay here again!

Terrific property in a wonderful location. Easy 2 block walk to a beautiful beach. Newer unit that is clean and very well maintained. Great bed. Very nice bathroom. The shared pool in the back is fantastic (don't worry about the listing pictures were it looks dark and maybe dirty. It is very clean and has a terrific deck surrounding the pool).
Holmes Beach has a lot of nice bars and restaurants (although they were closed. Thanks Covid!! grrr). And there is a drug store, grocery store, liquor store, and strip mall in a 1 minute drive or easy walk. The only thing to note is that there is not a lot of storage in the unit for clothes or groceries.
All in all, a very very nice property and we enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our last minute getaway to Anna Maria Island immensely. The whole trip from booking to departure was seamless and we didn't encounter any issues whatsoever. The place itself was amazing. We couldn't have had a better trip and we are anxious to get away again very soon!

We loved our stay here and just wish we could have stayed longer! It is exactly as in the photos, beautifully decorated, comfortable and with good amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher etc). We didn't really use the communal outdoor space but it was really nicely done. Really appreciated the beach chairs that we could borrow. The property is only 3 mins from the beach. The only niggle was that we didn't have a lot of space for our luggage, but we coped! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again some time!

Beautiful location, close to a few restaurants and bus route. Grocery store was 2 blocks away for all your needs. Newly remodeled, clean and private. common pool was great, nice to see new people in other houses. Ocean is 2 blocks as well. thank you for a very relaxing get away.

The 5 stars say it all... great location to the beach and island, a very clean, bright and cheerful accommodation. An outside shower, hose, or faucet to rinse sandy beach feet off and some more places to hang clothes or put clothes away would make the Starfish #6 perfect.

Great weekend getaway!! Adorable little cottage with fun decor. Everything was almost brand new. Only a few other guests around so we practically had the pool to ourselves. We loved the outdoor amenities.

The Perfect Beach Getaway for my husband and me! Central location to everything. Block to beach, block to grocery store. Trolley is around the corner and takes you up and down the whole island. We stayed in the Starfish #6 everything we dreamed it would be. Perfect little villa with all amenities and a beautifully landscaped backyard. Lisa was an amazing host and quickly answered any questions! We hope to come back soon! Next time with our children!

Words are hard to find to describe how amazing our stay was at the Starfish through AMI Locals. The property is a beautiful oasis that is well maintained, clean and very inviting. There was ample space to entertain even with other guests staying on the same premise, all well still feeling private. The property is only 2 short blocks away from the beach access (prob about a 3 min walk). There were beach towels for us to use, chairs and umbrellas that were kept neatly in a chest in the backyard to take to the beach. Then after a long day a jump in the heated pool was always a nice way to unwind. Lisa the property manager made herself available to us at any time we needed anything. Small quantities of basic necessities such as dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper were provided however after you use up what's provided, you must buy on your own. We're already trying to plan our next trip back to Anna Maria through AMI Locals again! Thanks so much to AMI Locals for making our girls trip one of the best EVER!

Beautiful little house and decor. We thought the bathroom located down the hall from the bedroom would be a major inconvenience, but turned out to be a non-issue. What makes this property, though, is the outside area that is shared by 5 other units. It is lush with the landscaping and turf grass. And the pool is beautiful. Plenty of lawn chairs, a table with seating for 6-8, and some couch seating as well. These units would be great to rent out together for a family reunion or celebration! Oh, plus the beach is just a block or so from the front door!

Perfect location! Walked everywhere - the beach, restaurants, Publix grocery, ice cream! Brand new and great decor. Comfy king sized bed. Everything you need in a tiny house! Plus the backyard was AMAZING! There were a few days we didn't even bother going to the beach - we just stayed outback in our own little oasis. The pool, the grill, they even thought of providing a lighter for the candles on the table! Lisa was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to unlock the front door when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

The house is beautiful, well equipped and very clean. We love the decoration, it makes you feel like part of the island. People are very happy here and you get contagious with that happiness very easily.   We enjoy a lot of afternoons on the beach and everything is really close, it is very easy to move.   Thanks for everything.
